THE RECTOR The Rev. H. Alan Leonard A Rector is the Priest in charge of a Parish (fully self-supporting) church. The Rector's ministry is focused on meeting the Pastoral needs of the church, leading worship, teaching, administering the sacraments and offering His/Her gifts for ministry in this part of God's kingdom. SENIOR WARDEN Bob Morrell The Sr. Warden is the chief, elected layperson in the church. His/Her responsibilities include leading the church when the Rector is away, assisting the Rector in meeting the Pastoral, Worship, and Administrative needs of the church and using His/Her gifts for ministry to build up the church. JUNIOR WARDEN Scott Collins The Jr. Warden is Chairperson of the Building and Grounds Committee. He/She oversees the maintenance of our facilities. He/She establishes the cleaning lists, provides for maintenance plans and implementation. He/She is to assist the Rector and the Sr. Warden in their duties as needed and to use his/her gifts for the building up of the church. OUTREACH CHAIRPERSON Jim McAbee The Outreach Committee helps us to see and respond to the Mission and Outreach needs of the church and community. They provide food to the local needy, support mission work in Haiti, Presiding Bishop's Fund, a local nursing home ministry, Prayer and College work. STEWARDSHIP CHAIRPERSON Bill McDaniel The Stewardship Committee addresses the financial needs of the church. They conduct the EVERY MEMBER CANVAS, approve fund raising projects, prepare the Operating Fund and Mortgage Fund Budgets. They also do financial planning. YOUTH Danielle Regoni This Committee oversees the Youth Program, Youth Groups (ages 5-11 and 12-17), and youth activities. LITURGY/ALTAR GUILD CHAIRPERSON Will Hawkins This Commission assists the Rector in planning special services, obtaining church furnishings and educating the church about the liturgy and worship. The Altar Guild is open to women and men who would like to help with setting up the Altar for Sunday and other worship services. They also help coordinate the Coffee Hour after church and food to the sick and shut-ins. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION Melissa Woolen Christian Education classes begin at 9:30 AM and run until 10:20 AM. There are classes for ages 1 month-4, 5-8, 9-12, Jr./Sr. High, and an Adult Class. Classes run September through May. ECW-EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN Kristie Sloan This Committee comprises all of the women of St. Margaret's who join together to serve one another and all the members of the St. Margaret's family. Growing in Christ as well as serving the congregation through special fundraising activities are important aspects of this women's group. EVANGELISM Rita Golden This Committee keeps our Family picture board, coordinates newcomer suppers, distributes visitor packets, plans "Bring a Friend to Church Sundays", and serves as a liaison between the church and the community. TREASURER Jim Landon The duties of the Treasurer includes receiving monies from pledges, gifts and legacies. The Treasurer is responsible for keeping record of money received by the Parish and makes all disbursements necessary for Parish perations. SECRETARY Caroline Smoogen The vestry secretary serves to record minutes from vestry meetings.
